We are working with a growing outsourced accountancy practice supporting ambitious SME consumer businesses across retail, e-commerce, hospitality, and lifestyle sectors. The business works as a trusted advisor to up and coming brands, providing support from bookkeeping up to CFO advisory.

The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Management Accountant to take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients. This is a varied and client-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with business owners and turning financial data into actionable insight. Ideal candidates will have experience in outsourced provisions already, understanding how to run multiple month ends at once, and can help to improve process internally for the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with clear commentary and analysis
• Own the month-end process for multiple clients
• Deliver cash flow forecasting and budgeting support
• Partner with clients to provide commercial insight and financial guidance
• Review bookkeeping and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Support year-end processes and liaise with external stakeholders where required
• Identify process improvements and contribute to scaling internal systems

  
About You

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in management accounting, ideally within practice or multi-client environments
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to communicate financial information clearly
• Comfortable working directly with SME business owners
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong Excel skills; experience with cloud accounting tools (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) preferred
