A highly reputable, listed Asset and Wealth Management firm are looking for a Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting Manager. The company has over £25 billion of assets under management and a network of offices around the UK. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will have varied responsibilities as detailed below.
Your Role
Manage the preparation of group regulatory returns and subsidiary financial statements under IFRS as well as Board papers.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and assist in group consolidations.
Assist in production of technical papers for new accounting standards.
Preparation of Prudential and Liquidity Regulatory reporting.
Review the capital adequacy and liquidity positions of the Group.
Involvement in the production of the MIFIDPRU and ICARA returns.
Assist in the preparation of Corporation Tax and VAT returns.
Involvement in other finance projects including due diligence work.
Your Skills and Qualifications
Qualified accountant with strong regulatory reporting and financial control experience gained in asset / wealth management or banking.
Strong financial accounting and regulatory reporting (FCA / PRA) knowledge.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
