A highly reputable, listed Wealth and Investment Management firm are looking for a Operations Accountant. The company has over £100 billion of assets under management/administration and a network of offices around the UK.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the trial balance is accurate as recorded on the General Ledger.
Your Role
Monthly production of the trial balance including balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist in preparing month-end reports for the senior management team.
Ensure a robust control framework and always challenge and seek out process improvement opportunities.
Provide assistance to the external audit team.
Build strong connections with the wider finance team and senior finance leaders.
Involvement in finance projects as and when required.
Your Skills and Qualifications
Ideally a recently qualified or part-qualified accountant with balance sheet reporting and strong reconciliations experience.
First-class interpersonal skills for communicating with senior management and external stakeholders.
Excellent systems and data visualisation skills including MS Excel.
Be deadline driven and be always look for process improvements.
