Clinical Leader - Community Aged Care

Take the lead across clinical quality, team capability and service delivery within an established community aged care operation in Townsville.

This senior leadership opportunity will see you develop clinical teams, drive high standards across quality and governance, and influence the delivery of high-quality care across community-based services.

The opportunity:

Your focus will include:

• Leading, supporting and developing experienced healthcare teams
• Building capability and encouraging strong performance across the service
• Maintaining high standards of clinical practice and service quality
• Providing guidance and support around complex care requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and the client experience
• Supporting teams through change and evolving service requirements
• Working collaboratively with the wider leadership team and key stakeholders

About you: 

We're looking for an experienced healthcare leader who can combine strong clinical knowledge with an engaging and practical approach to leadership.

You will ideally bring:

• Leadership experience within aged care, community services or a relevant healthcare environment
• Experience managing and developing people
• Strong understanding of quality, safety and contemporary clinical practice
• Confidence navigating complex clinical and service delivery matters
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

** Community aged care or home care experience will be highly regarded, however strong clinical leaders with transferable experience are also encouraged to apply **
