Molteni&C is an Italian design brand offering contemporary furniture and interior solutions. Based at its Sydney flagship store in Surry Hills, the Sales and Marketing Manager will plan and manage sales and marketing activities, develop commercial opportunities and build relationships with clients and industry partners.

The right applicant will be responsible for:

• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the Australian market.
• Set sales targets, develop budgets and monitor performance against business objectives.
• Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, promotional activities and product presentations to increase brand awareness and generate sales opportunities.
• Identify opportunities with architects, interior designers, property developers and other commercial clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and industry partners.
• Research market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to inform sales strategies, product positioning and promotional plans.
• Develop pricing and sales proposals, negotiate commercial terms and oversee opportunities through to contract completion.
• Coordinate showroom and sales team activities, providing direction to support consistent customer service and achievement of sales targets.
• Oversee the preparation of marketing materials and digital content in line with Molteni&C’s brand standards.
• Analyse sales results and marketing campaign performance, reporting on revenue forecasts, budgets and opportunities for improvement.
• Represent Molteni&C at industry events and coordinate activities that support business growth.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience managing sales and marketing activities, ideally within furniture, interiors, architecture or a related premium market;
• Strong skills in sales strategy, marketing planning, budgeting and performance analysis;
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills;
• Ability to coordinate teams, manage commercial opportunities and achieve sales objectives;
• Experience working with architects, designers, developers or commercial clients would be highly regarded;
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year
