MIG Welder Pay: £13.71 per hour (rising to £14.40 per hour from April 2026)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing quality work and is looking for a long-term position with a supportive team and a clean, well-equipped working environment.
Working on light tubular assemblies using in-house jigs, you'll be responsible for producing consistent, high-quality welds while maintaining excellent standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities - MIG weld mild steel tubular and flat assemblies to a high standard
- Work from in-house jigs to produce accurate, repeatable products
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Carry out visual quality checks on finished welds
- Maintain a steady work pace while meeting production targets
- Complete a weld test and interview as part of the recruitment process
What We're Looking For - Proven MIG welding experience, ideally with a minimum of 2 years' experience
- Experience working with tubular and flat steel products
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- A positive attitude and pride in producing consistent work
