About the role
Hunters 4 Staff are working with an established, family-run engineering company based in Cheadle. They're looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder / Plater to join their team, working with medium to heavy gauge materials. This is a hands-on role with an immediate start available and the chance to secure a permanent position.
Key responsibilities
Fabricating and welding medium to heavy gauge steel components
Working from and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
Carrying out MIG welding to a high standard
Ensuring work meets quality and safety standards
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements
Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder or Plater
Strong ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Experience with medium to heavy gauge welding
Good attention to detail and a practical approach to work
Reliable with a strong work ethic
