Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting a Commis Chef to join the award‑winning kitchen team at Hoar Cross Hall, a luxury spa and hospitality venue in the heart of Staffordshire.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate chef who enjoys working in a fast‑paced kitchen and wants to develop their skills in a high‑quality environment. You'll support the Chef de Partie and wider kitchen team, helping deliver consistently excellent food and memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the kitchen
Preparing vegetables, meat and fish to the required standard
Assisting with stock control and ordering
Ensuring all dishes meet quality and presentation standards
Following food hygiene, health & safety and cleaning procedures
Completing daily food and fridge temperature checks
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a Commis Chef or similar kitchen role
Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
Good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen
A positive team‑focused attitude with good attention to detail
