Our client are a well‑established commercial vehicle manufacturing company in Stoke seeking a Skilled Vehicle Prepper to join the busy day-shift team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial vehicles, carrying out preparation ready for paintwork to a high professional standard. You'll be part of a supportive team within a growing business that values quality, reliability, and craftsmanship.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Preparing commercial vehicles, panels, and components for paint (sanding, masking, priming)
• Carrying out minor body repairs and finishing work
• Ensuring a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Meeting deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail

Requirements

• Previous experience in vehicle prep and/or spray painting (commercial vehicle experience preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Own tools preferred but not essential
