CNC Programmer - Stoke-on-Trent (Temporary Contract)

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Contract: Temporary (3-4 months)
Hours: Day shift 8.00 - 16.30
Pay: Dependent on experience

Hunters 4 Staff are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our client's successful engineering team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a temporary role for around 3-4 months, working on Fanuc control panels.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set and operate CNC machines in line with company procedures.
Machine various parts from steel bar, castings or profiles, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Inspect and finish parts to meet customer drawings and standards.
Carry out routine machine maintenance and request tooling/consumables as needed.
Follow Health & Safety and Quality procedures at all times.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area.

Requirements:

Previous CNC programming experience (Fanuc controls essential).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and a "right first-time" approach.
Willingness to complete a pre-employment drugs and alcohol test.
Good understanding of Health & Safety in an engineering environment.
