ACM Healthcare is working on behalf of a Federal Government Department to source an experienced Mental Health Professional for a Outreach Program Coordinator in either the Townsville or Cairns office.
This role sits within a specialist veteran mental health service and is responsible for coordinating and managing a national outreach provider program, supporting clinicians, external providers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to veterans and their families. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician looking to move into a more operational, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and program management-focused role while maintaining a small clinical caseload.
Duties:
Coordinate and manage relationships with Outreach Program Providers and external stakeholders
Support provider onboarding, training, communication, and ongoing engagement
Monitor provider performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
Review partnership referral requests and assess suitability
Maintain provider databases and update internal teams on clinician availability
Manage and resolve complaints and complex provider issues, act as an escalation point for complex outreach program matters
Maintain a small clinical caseload as negotiated with management
Participate in community engagement, program evaluation, and quality improvement activities
Maintain professional registration through ongoing CPD and clinical supervision
Mandatory Requirements:
Qualifications as a registered Psychologist / Provisional Psychologist / Mental Health Occupational Therapist / Mental Health Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration, OR Social Worker with membership of the Australian Association Social Workers (AASW) on commencement OR Counselling qualification and registration with ACA at Level 4
Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance must be obtained prior to commencement.
As this role is within a Federal Government department it is a required to be an Australian Citizen at time of commencement
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) & the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance by completing a Pre-commencement Security Check (PCSC).
