Job Title: Project Coordinator / NPI Project Manager
Location: Durham, North East England
Salary: £35 - 45K per annum + Early Finish Fridays
We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing business looking to strengthen its project delivery team with the addition of a Project Coordinator / NPI Project Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across engineering and manufacturing teams, building strong customer relationships, and helping bring new products into production successfully.
The business is currently investing heavily in improving and evolving its internal processes, systems, and ways of working. It’s an exciting stage of growth. Who This Could Suit

You may already be managing projects within an engineering or manufacturing environment, or you could currently be working in:
- Production planning
- Manufacturing coordination
- Engineering support
- Operations
- Project administration
- Supply chain or procurement within a project-led environment
What matters most is that you understand how projects move through a manufacturing business and can coordinate people, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
Experience within electronics manufacturing would be highly advantageous, but candidates from broader technical manufacturing sectors will also be considered, particularly those involved in transferring products from engineering into production.
What You’ll Be Doing - Coordinating projects from initial customer requirements through to manufacturing delivery
- Working cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams
- Tracking timelines, risks, costs, and project milestones
- Supporting customer communication and providing regular progress updates
- Helping ensure projects remain aligned to scope, quality, and delivery expectations
- Maintaining project documentation, reports, and technical records
- Supporting continuous improvement activity across project processes
- Contributing to a collaborative and solutions-focused team culture
What We’re Looking For - Experience within engineering, manufacturing, or technical production environments
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and adaptable mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep activities progressing
- Commercial awareness and understanding of customer expectations
- Comfortable working with technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing information
- A collaborative approach with strong stakeholder communication skills
