Job Title: Electronics Technician
Location: Southampton
Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 basic + benefits.

My client design and manufacture a range of complex electronic/Optical products and systems that are used all over the world. They are a stable, highly successful business with impressive growth plans for next year.
Key Responsibilities – Electronic Technician:
- Collaborate with the development team to design and deliver laser systems.
- Build and test prototype boards designed by electronics engineers.
- Conduct design verification tests for new prototypes.
- Support the design and delivery of electronic products within the companies existing product group.
- Develop and document production procedures.
Essential Skills/Experience – Electronic Technician:
- Proficiency in electronics techniques, soldering, PCB layout, and fault finding.
- Experience in electronics fault-finding and testing.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience - Electronic Technician:
- Industrial design experience in PCB, electronics, firmware, and software applications.
- Experience in lasers, optics, and/or optoelectronics.
- Familiarity with safety interlock systems in electronic design.
- Experience with RF electronics, particularly in optoelectronics applications.
