Automation Test Leader – Test Automation & Software QA on Hardware
Are you an experienced Automation Test Leader seeking your next exciting challenge?

We are looking for a skilled professional to join a forward-thinking team, where you’ll take the lead on test automation initiatives and work with innovative technologies. As Automation Test Leader, you will oversee the development and execution of test automation strategies for both hardware and software.You’ll have the opportunity to build the automation testing infrastructure from the ground up and scale the team as you go, including hiring new members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Innovate: Manage and guide a growing team in both manual and automated testing for hardware and software solutions, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with development teams to create and implement test plans for test automation and contribute to Agile sprints for continuous improvement.
• Solve Complex Problems: Take ownership of complex system-level issues, providing QA support and customer validation services, with flexibility for off-hours assistance when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Key Skills: Strong proficiency in test automation, preferably Python, Linux and embedded hardware systems.
• Experience in Software QA on Hardware Systems and System Validation: Hands-on experience in software QA for hardware systems and system validation, specifically in environments where both hardware and software testing are involved.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, essential for collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and driving excellence in QA and test automation.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Experience with testing hardware components such as circuit boards and electronic systems. 
• Knowledge of release engineering processes, particularly in hardware-software integrated systems.
