This Business Development Manager role plays a pivotal part in executing our NZ growth strategy — primarily supporting our BNT and Truck and Trailer Parts (TATP) businesses, while collaborating across the wider NZ network.
The Opportunity As Business Development Manager, you will:

• Develop, maintain and grow strategic customer relationships across your region
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within your territory
• Partner closely with Branch Managers, Sales Representatives, Key Accounts, Product Managers and Marketing to unlock growth
• Lead structured call cycles and territory planning initiatives
• Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to support product and sales strategy
• Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and annual planning processes
• Support and mentor Sales and Territory Representatives within your region
• Champion a safe, collaborative and high-performance culture

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong stakeholder engagement both internally and externally.
What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in business development, key account or territory management
• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs
• 6+ years’ sales experience
• Advanced relationship-building and negotiation capability
• Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse ROI and territory potential
• Confidence working autonomously while contributing to wider team success
• Strong communication, planning and time management skills
• Passion for the automotive industry
