Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Victoria, London, SW1
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + Package

A leading main contractor working on iconic landmark buildings across the capital undertaking complex refurbishments.

About your new role:

Due to continued growth and successfully securing a number of new projects our client is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

Duties for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

You will be responsible for managing costs and budgets, overseeing subcontractor contracts and valuations, mitigating financial risks, and liaising with main contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of heritage & building restoration projects.


Requirements for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

• You will need excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, strong IT skills and good technical knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office packages
• Team player
• Previous experience in heritage / building restoration / conservation projects.
• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Experience with a specialist subcontractor within external or internal refurbishment contractor or main contractor.
