Role: Contracts Manager / Project Manager

Location: Surrey / Kent / Sussex (remotely based home / sites with occasion office visits).

Salary / Package: £55,000 - £65,000 (DOE) + Benefits

Company Overview:

Our client operate across a variety of sectors including planned maintenance, responsive maintenance, refurbishment and new build developments typically throughout Greater London area's - Surrey, Kent, Sussex.

Due to recently securing a number of new frameworks, our client is seeking an experience Contracts Manager ideally situated in the South East, covering the Surrey, Kent and Sussex areas.


Duties for the Fire Stopping / Prevention Contracts Manager:

• Meeting new and potential clients to promote the business and secure new work
• Pricing tender enquiries
• Attending pre-start meetings
• Site measurement/surveys to measure and condition check for replacement or repairable fire doors
• Negotiation of contracts
• Material and plant procurement and managing suitably qualified Labour.
• Comply with the company's health and safety policy/procedures
• Full project management
• Monitor, implement and participate in all performance improvements and ensure these are initiatives implemented in line with best practices and current regulations and legislation.
• Quality control of all installations
• Authorising payments to suppliers & subcontractors

Requirements for the for the Fire Stopping / Prevention Contracts Manager:

• Technical knowledge of both fire door suppliers and products on how to install in line with the applicable test standards.
• A proven background within fire stopping / prevention industry across the social / affordable housing and sheltered accommodation sectors.
• Experience dealing with Customers and Providing Excellent Customer Service
