About our Opportunity:
The VinOak Account Manager will focus on managing and growing existing accounts while securing new accounts in alignment with VinOak’s Sales Plan. This role involves critical administrative tasks, including placing orders and logistics support using Excel systems. This position also offers opportunities for domestic, regional, and international travel.
This role is of strategic importance to increase the VinOak brand awareness and grow the business in both volume and profitability, whilst supporting the Cork Supply’s range of products in the market.
This position is offered Full Time.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Actively represent and support both the VinOak division and the wider group.
- Manage expenses according to the sales plan and budget.
- Collaborate with distribution partners on annual marketing plans and budgets, including promotions.
- Optimise logistics with the General Manager for cost-effective outcomes.
- Ensure timely order processing to meet logistical requirements.
- Execute the sales plan to grow revenue through trials, maintaining relationships, and creating opportunities.
- Share market insights to benefit VinOak and the broader business.
- Engage in promotional activities, technical seminars, and industry events.
- Identify and implement improvements to business systems and processes.
- Lead and participate in training initiatives to enhance overall business performance.
- Suggest inventory adjustments to balance stock, reduce costs, and meet demand.
To be successful in this role you will have: - Experience in the sale and promotion of oak products within the wine industry.
- 1–3 years of industry experience with cooperages (Tonnelleries).
- A developed tasting palate gained through 1–3 years of collaboration with winemakers.
- Previous experience in wine tasting, gained through roles such as cellar door or winemaking.
- Qualifications in winemaking, desirable.
- Strong ability to influence and provide guidance on stylistic differences in the VinOak product range.
- Valid driver's license.
- Established relationships within the winemaking and spirits industry, desirable.
