About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator / Proposal Specialist to join our growing construction team. You will be responsible for managing project estimates, proposals, and bid documentation to ensure a steady pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and pull plans for new projects across multiple trades (Framing, Drywall, ACT, Doors, Wood Blocking).
• Prepare accurate bids and proposals, including material pricing and job costing.
• Perform take-offs and analyze project details to determine labor and material requirements.
• Produce estimates with a 48-72 hour turnaround time for most projects.
• Handle framing jobs typically under 10,000 sq. ft., with take-off timelines of ½ to 1 day depending on project complexity.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure competitive and profitable proposals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in construction (preferably framing and drywall trades).
• Strong understanding of blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office Suite is preferred.
