About the Role
Seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to join our team as an SEO Specialist & Marketing Generalist. A dual-focused role that will be pivotal in establishing and growing our online presence in existing and new platforms. 
Our ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in search engine optimisation (SEO) while also being capable of managing general marketing tasks, including some content creation, social media management, and website updates. As part of a dynamic team, you will help us achieve our goals of continuously improving our organic search rankings, leads and conversions while contributing creatively to our broader marketing initiatives.
 
Primary Tasks

• Strategy & Planning
  • Develop tailored SEO strategies across a variety of industries and client types
  • Conduct deep-dive audits, keyword research, competitor and SERP analysis
  • Identify and prioritise opportunities across technical SEO, content, and link acquisition
  • Prepare clear strategy documents, roadmaps, and briefing materials
  • Internal Collaboration
  • Work closely with account managers to support them field client queries and explain SEO strategies to clients
  • Support SEO specialists by reviewing their work and providing direction on implementation
  • Join internal strategy meetings and contribute to cross-channel planning
  Insights & Reporting  
  • Review campaign performance, analyse key trends, and distil insights that matter
  • Flag performance drops or opportunities for optimisation
  • Help shape weekly/monthly insights shared with clients via the AMs
  • Actively identify performance gaps, technical issues, or content opportunities across client websites. Share timely insights with the Account Manager that support upsell opportunities or strengthen client retention.
  AI-Driven SEO Innovation  
  • Stay up to date with the evolving role of AI in search. Proactively explore and test AI tools and techniques to improve SEO performance, streamline workflows, and keep our strategies future-fit. Share learnings and recommendations with the wider team to help us stay ahead of industry shifts.
  • Systems & Process Improvement
  • Help improve internal tools, processes and templates for delivering SEO
  • QA SEO work before it reaches the client-facing team
  • Contribute to training and upskilling the wider team on SEO best practices
    Qualifications  
  • 4+ years’ hands-on experience in SEO, ideally in an agency environment
  • A strong grasp of technical, content, and off-page SEO
  • Confident using tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GSC etc.
  • Excellent communication skills – you can make complex SEO concepts easy to understand
  • A proactive mindset – you don’t wait to be told what to do, you spot what’s missing and jump in
  • Solid attention to detail and a love for structure, data and process
