Key Responsibilities
- Advanced bookkeeping and financial record-keeping in Xero
- Running and managing payroll on a fortnightly basis
- Working closely with our accountants to support the preparing and submitting BAS and other compliance documentation
- Generating monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports
- Learning to use Halaxy (our patient management software) to run financial reports
- Managing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Budget monitoring and forecasting
- Liaising with the CEO and external accountants
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance preferred
- At least 3 years' experience in a finance or bookkeeping role
- Proven experience with Xero and running payroll
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Software Experience
- Xero (Advanced)
- Halaxy (Intermediate – training provided)
- Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (Intermediate to Advanced)
