With long-standing partnerships with Australia’s leading insurance companies and loss assessors, this business continues to thrive and grow. Due to increasing demand, they are now seeking an experienced Building Supervisor to join their high-performing team in Hervey Bay.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to oversee insurance restoration projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating trades, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising building reinstatement and insurance repair works
• Coordinating and managing trades throughout the restoration process
• Monitoring job progress and resolving issues as they arise
• Liaising with insurance companies, loss adjusters, and insured parties
• Organising property access with insured clients
• Managing disputes and delivering timely, practical resolutions
• Ensuring all works comply with OH&S requirements and contractual obligations
• Coordinating inspections and sign-offs with building surveyors and relevant authorities

The Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
• Previous experience in insurance building (highly desirable but not essential)
• Trade qualifications in building (carpentry preferred) or a related field
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Solid computer literacy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Sound knowledge of OH&S legislation and industry regulations
• Familiarity with current market rates and trade practices
• A current and valid driver’s licence
