About the Role:
Established in 2011, The Salt Foundation is a not-for-profit Christian charity providing integral support services to people living with disabilities. The Salt Foundation is a registered NDIS provider with a proud history of providing programs that promote physical, social, and mental well-being for individuals, families, and communities. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will utilise their extensive NDIS knowledge to support clients to build their capacity and connections within the community and broader systems of support.
Support Coordinators will assist clients with NDIS plan implementation and will work with clients to increase their understanding of NDIS plan funding and its purpose.
Support Coordinators will assist clients when required during times of NDIS plan review or change of circumstance. The successful candidate will assist clients in the identification of supports working to establish and with implementing those support for clients.
Establishment of a strong professional network- building and developing relationships leading to growth and progression towards organisational outcomes.
A continued dedication to professional development is required, with the ability to utilise established professional connections to promote client and organisational growth.
What you’ll bring:
A minimum of two years’ experience as a NDIS Support Coordinator
Communication skills that are highly attuned to listening, understanding, and communicating positively and clearly.
Able to work autonomously, self-manage time and workload.
A Tertiary qualification in Disability / Community Services (or equivalent)
Knowledge of and ability to work within relevant NDIS funding guidelines and legislative requirements.
Ability to develop relationships with new and exciting clients, identifying opportunities to expand the organisations.
