About Us:
A leading renewable energy solutions provider with a strong engineering presence across Australia is expanding its commercial team. The company develops high-quality solar and clean-energy technologies used in residential, commercial, and utility projects nationwide.

They are now seeking a Sales Engineer to support both technical design and customer engagement within their Australian PV Solutions division.

In this position, you'll work closely with an Account Manager to support partners across the solar and renewable energy sector. You'll provide technical solution design, prepare quotations, deliver product presentations, and contribute to ongoing product improvement through market feedback. This is a full-time role suited to someone who enjoys both engineering and client-facing work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Account Manager to achieve assigned revenue and growth targets
• Support existing distributors and installers while identifying and onboarding new partners
• Prepare technical solution designs and accurate project quotations
• Deliver product training, presentations, and promotional material to customers
• Provide market insights and product updates in collaboration with Sales and Marketing
• Maintain accurate client activity and pipeline records within the CRM
• Work with the R&D team to relay customer and market feedback for continuous product improvement
• Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Renewable, or related Engineering
• 2+ years' experience in solar, renewables, or a technical sales/engineering environment
• Strong understanding of solution design and solar mounting principles
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-engagement skills
• Good logical problem-solving ability and willingness to be client-facing
• Experience with project management and CRM systems

Desirable but not mandatory:

• Prior experience supporting distributors or installers
• Exposure to product training, technical demonstrations, or market development
• Understanding of Australian renewable energy standards and compliance frameworks
