Our client, a well-established and innovative printing specialist based in the CBD, is looking to recruit a confident and customer service focussed Production Assistant (OR Customer Service Assistant). Providing a professional and personalised service from the initial brief to final delivery, you will have the opportunity to thrive in their small, creative and collaborative team where each project is unique and close attention to detail is of utmost importance.
  
Responsibilities of the Role

• Greeting and welcoming customers into the store as well as answering customers queries via phone and email
• Receiving orders from customers and conveying this information to the print team
• Use internal systems to coordinate pricing and product information
• Assist with the production of print materials, troubleshooting minor printing issues and escalating as needed
• Work across teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Assist with receiving, storing and dispatching print material

Experience, Skills and Requirements

• Previous experience working in a similar role in the print industry would be advantageous
• Strong customer service skills, confident with being the first point of contact and able to build strong customer relationships
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and coordinate urgent jobs with strong time management skills
• Confident in your ability to use your creative flair and advise customers on layouts, colours and the printing process
• Previous experience using MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and exposure to prepress or PSV systems would be preferable
• Reliable, solutions focussed, keen ‘eye for detail’ and accurate in managing orders
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude, available to assist and support colleagues and being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that is deadline driven
