TeamKids is on the search for a remarkable Program Manager ready to take the next step in their career! We have a Fixed term, full-time leadership opportunity, in a large, vibrant service that’s full of potential and ready for the right person to lead it forward.

Contact Hours: 23 hours (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday BSC 7-9am & ASC 2:30-6:15pm)
Admin Hours: 15 Hours (Friday: 7.6 admin hours, 7.4hrs additional admin spread across the week)
About the role As Program Manager, you’ll work closely with a dedicated on-site leadership team. Your leadership isn’t all from behind a desk, it’s on the floor, in ratio, side by side with your team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll provide daily coaching, guidance, and practical support. You’ll be a familiar, trusted face for families and children, while also being the steady presence that ensures everything runs smoothly. Think of yourself as the captain of the ship, steering the course, supporting your crew, and ensuring everyone arrives safely and smiling.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Actively supporting and guiding your team during contact hours
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and school leaders. Overseeing all communication with families and the school.
- Overseeing environment setup and ensuring engaging, inclusive programming
- Uplifting and training your team to build consistency and confidence
- Embedding routines and structures that create calm, predictable, and positive experiences
- Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and quality
This is a large program with space to grow, and we’re looking for a leader who’s ready to grow with it.
- Overseeing all day-to-day operations across Before, After, and Vacation Care
- Supporting and coaching a structured leadership team
- Embedding strong routines, building systems, and guiding culture
- Driving quality programming, compliance, and family engagement
- Building exceptional relationships with children, families, school leaders and your team
- Resourcing and delivering a fun, inclusive, high-quality experience for all children
Your role is to coach and guide them on the floor, lead with confidence, and build strong routines, systems and team culture. You’ll play a key role in shaping a consistent and high-performing team.
This is a high-volume service that needs a leader who thrives on fast-paced, purposeful work and can bring structure, quality, and consistency.

✅As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
What You’ll Need: - First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an OSHC or education leadership role
- Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards. (Visit www.acecqa.gov.au for more info)
