Our client, with over 75 years of industry expertise, is a trusted advisor dedicated to delivering the right solutions. As they expand, they seek a passionate, customer-focused individual to join their team and enhance customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a self motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team in a role that emphasises counter sales while also supporting warehouse operations.
Main Responsibilities:
Counter Sales:
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and handling counter sales transactions efficiently.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and escalate complex issues to the sales team as needed.
- Assist customers with product information and order processing, ensuring a seamless sales experience.
Warehouse Duties: - Receive, pick, pack, and process customer orders accurately, maintaining detailed documentation.
- Manage inventory, conduct regular stocktakes, and collaborate with transport companies to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Participate in safety training, report incidents, and ensure compliance with regulations.
What You’ll Need to Succeed: - Minimum 3 years of experience working counter sales in a similar role
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and take a active approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge of pumps, fans, electrical, HVAC, or refrigeration products preferred
- A valid counterbalance license and drivers license.
- Be self motivated to develop and learn, potentially with thoughts of becoming a territory manager in future
- Physically fit and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and medical
- Must have a clean criminal record
