The RoleAs a BDM, you will be primarily responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within South Australia. Brennan is split into multiple operating units including IT Services, Voice and Data, Telephony, Hardware Procurement, and Software Development. The successful BDM is expected to prospect across all service categories and develop a strong rapport with customers.
The successful candidate will have a well-structured sales approach and can leverage their existing relationships in the industry to drive new business and partnerships especially in the government space.
Key Responsibilities: - Utilise Digital and social media to implement your personalised lead generation campaign to grow your pipeline
- Focus will be to close net new business with a focus on revenue and GP in the midmarket/enterprise/government space
- You will be provided a list of prospects but you will be expected to leverage your own existing network and the partner/vendor community
- You will have at your disposal, a dedicated Customer Engagement Team that will set up alignment calls with new leads.
- Plan and support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timelines and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities.
- Maintain the data in the Sales CRM system relating to Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities and Activities to help us to continually refine our sales and marketing strategy.
Experience: - Minimum 10 years ICT sales experience
- A successful track record in complex Cyber Security sales
- A successful l track record of achieving sales targets.
- Consultative sales experience and approach
- Demonstrated ability to position and present at a C-suite level
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with a multi-disciplined team
- Demonstrated ability to manage the sales process and pipeline
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, organisation, and time management
- Strategic thinking with get-up-and-go attitude
- Professional appearance and presentation
- A willingness to work and adapt to a fast growing & changing environment.
- Self-sufficiency and a high degree of autonomy.
- Ability to perform and work well under pressure.
- Ability to work within a team and achieve results through others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable: - Tertiary qualification or relevant sales experience
- Technical industry certifications
A good knowledge of: - SOC & SIEM services and capabilities
- Technical controls such as EDR, Email Security, Network Security and Cloud Security
- Proactive services such as Vulnerability Management, Dark Web
- Monitoring and Security Awareness Training
- Industry frameworks including ISO27001, NIST, Essential 8 and SMB1001
- GRC and Advisory services
- Offensive Security capabilities
Note: As part of our hiring process, you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check and have the ability to get a Baseline Security Clearance or NV1 Clearance.
