The role:We are looking for a Service Desk Transition Specialist for a 6 month secondment to help deliver service excellence on the Service Desk. They will be responsible with ensuring that clients are onboarded and offboarded on and off the Service Desk as efficiently as possible.
The role would suit someone with at least two years experience of complex Service Desk environments and due to the nature of the role, they must be in Australia. In addition, travel to client sites may be required for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Transition Managers to ensure that transitions involving Service Desk support are delivered efficiently, effectively and in a timely fashion.
- When a client is being onboarded, participate in the gathering of client
environment knowledge to deliver an effective Service Desk service. - Work with the Brennan transition team and clients to ensure that all the necessary knowledge and documentation is captured and documented to allow the Service Desk to provide the contracted service.
- Assist the Service Desk Team Leads and the Service Desk Training Team to ensure that any necessary training or knowledge be prepared for dissemination to the team ahead of any transition.
- Attend Transition Meetings for client onboardings where necessary, both internal and externally with the client.
- Manage the completion of the Service Desk client onboarding the checklist for each transition.
What skills and experience you bring: - Two years' experience in a technical customer service role including
familiarity with an understanding of a technical Service Desk environment. - Information Technology or Computer Science Degree (or equivalent
experience). - Understand the essence of customer service excellence, with a strong
desire to deliver an outstanding outcome to the customer. - Passionate about customer service and delivering a great outcome for
our customers. - Able to work with people at all levels of the organisation to deliver positive service outcomes.
- Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders using different methods.
- Strong documentation skills including experience of writing knowledge
articles and compiling technical documentation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with reporting tools to identify, display and analyse trends.
