Looking for a no-nonsense Shop Mechanic in [Greensboro/Charlotte] to keep our heavy fleet moving. This is a "Big Iron" shop—we don't do mini-excavators or skid steers. You’ll be the go-to for our CAT 336s, Deere 350s, and D5+ Dozers.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Full teardowns and rebuilds on Shears, Pulverizers, and Hydraulic Hammers (LaBounty, NPK, etc.).
• Resealing big cylinders, final drives, and supporting our Field Techs so they aren't buried.

The Logistics:

• Schedule: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Home every night).
• Overtime: Available and encouraged + Saturday options.
• Support: Full office backing and dedicated parts runners. We get you what you need so you can actually wrench.
• Based at Charlotte shop; per diem for time in Greensboro as needed

The Requirements:

• You’ve spent real time under an 80,000 lb machine.
• You know your way around heavy hydraulic systems.
• You're a self-starter who doesn't need a supervisor holding the light.
