Our client a growing civil contractor looking for a Project Engineer  to join our team and help deliver complex civil and earthwork projects across Central and North Florida.

About the Role
This role is responsible for managing all aspects of civil construction projects from award through closeout. You’ll work closely with field leadership, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and on budget.

Office / Field Split
Approximately 70% office / 30% field.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer contracts, budgets, schedules, and project staff
• Oversee all phases of civil, earthwork, concrete, and asphalt projects
• Coordinate self-performed crews and subcontractors
• Support bidding and preconstruction efforts as needed
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements

Qualifications

• Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree required
• Experience managing civil construction projects preferred
• Strong understanding of earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and asphalt
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines
