Project Areas: Midland, Odessa, Big Spring, Winkler, and surrounding areas (~1-hour radius)
Employment Type: Full-time, long-term

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support multiple heavy civil projects across West Texas. This is a long-term role with Midland serving as the primary home base. The ideal candidate will initially manage one primary project, with opportunities to assist on additional projects as needs arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project management teams with daily operations
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and DOT requirements
• Support multiple projects as workload shifts
• Assist with project closeout documentation and reporting

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably senior-level
• Heavy civil construction experience (roadway, utilities, structures, or earthwork)
• DOT project experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable traveling daily to project sites
• Willing to relocate to Midland, TX (relocation assistance available)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
