Granite Works Stone Design is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Stone Countertop Fabricator to join our team. This position involves fabricating high-quality stone countertops, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every step of the process. The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy stone materials, knowledge of fabrication equipment, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Pay Range:
 
$18 – $25 per hour (Wage Contingent on Experience)

• Fabricate stone countertops using state-of-the-art machinery, tools, and hand-finishing techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and work orders to ensure fabrication accuracy.
• Cut, polish, and edge stone materials to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Handle and move stone slabs and fabricated pieces safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain and clean fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with installers to troubleshoot and resolve any fit or installation issues.
• Organize and maintain the workspace to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Operate automated CNC machines and hand tools with precision and care.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, including raw slabs and fabricated pieces.

• Experience in stone countertop fabrication or a related field is required.
• Knowledge of working with granite, quartz, marble, and other stone materials.
• Familiarity with CNC equipment and hand tools for cutting and polishing stone.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely.
• Valid driver’s license with minimal incidents in the last three years (for travel to job sites if needed).

• Ability to lift or move heavy stone slabs and fabricated pieces regularly.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Comfortable working in varying conditions, including warehouse and fabrication shop environments.
