Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator required for an established Accounts Practice in the beautiful location of West Wales near Llandysul
Due to continued growth within the business, this established Accountancy practice who's aim is to support the hospitality industry and SME's across Wales and South West England are looking for Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to join them at the Llandysul Practice.
By building relationships with clients they have the knowledge to cover a wide range of industrial, commercial and licensed trade, as well as retail businesses.
This is a permanent vacancy for a Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to join this growing company in the New Year.
You will ideally have working knowledge in Sage Line 50, Xero and/or Quick books, Money soft with experience working in a busy accounts office.
You will be an account handler of your own portfolio of up to 26 client house accounts - with month by month deadline targets therefore you will be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise workloads
Accounts preparation competence, leading up to Trial Balance (Essential) and some understanding of payroll process.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR…
You will ideally have 2 years commercial Accountancy experience or similar within Practice
Qualified to AAT Level 2 or currently studying towards with experience working within an Accounts Practice or finance department. Equally you may be QBE (qualified by experience) in a similar role.
English/Math Grade C or above or equivalent
Key skills in Bookkeeping, Payroll, General Admin & Accounts duties desirable
Understanding of a CRM, I.T. and Microsoft Office Solutions packages.
Ability to work under pressure to meet clients strict deadlines at a competent, quality, level.
Have an Interest in numbers and a career within accounts
Be methodical and organised disciplines
Good time keeping and communication skills
Team player and of personable smart character
Based in a pleasant, friendly office near Llandysul,West Wales, with free parking (due to the location you must have access to own transport and live within a 30 minute commute)
Salary up to 22K dependant on experience & qualification
Health Cover & Pension.
28 Days holiday including Bank holidays
On going career progression and training for the right candidate
8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
Occasional travel to the head office practice in Bristol for training and holiday cover may be required.
