About the Company
Our client is a growing and highly regarded provider within the disability and community services sector, delivering complex support services with a strong focus on quality care, operational excellence and participant outcomes. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day coordination and stability of their services.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director, the Operations Manager will play a critical leadership role across service delivery, workforce coordination, rostering oversight, participant onboarding, compliance and operational systems management. This position is designed to create operational stability across the organisation while ensuring services continue to operate safely, efficiently and in line with company standards and values.
Your Responsibilities: - Oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of disability support services.
- Manage workforce coordination, roster oversight and staffing coverage.
- Monitor service stability and respond proactively to operational issues.
- Coordinate participant onboarding, intake processes and service agreements.
- Lead support worker recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
- Manage operational communication flow, meetings and action tracking.
- Oversee compliance systems, registers and operational reporting.
- Support clinical and nursing coordination activities.
- Monitor operational costs, overtime trends and workforce pressures.
- Coordinate stakeholder communication with support coordinators, hospitals and service providers.
- Drive systems discipline, operational improvements and service consistency.
Skills and Experience Required - Demonstrated experience in an Operations Manager or senior operational leadership role.
- Strong background within disability, community services, healthcare or human services environments.
- Experience managing large and complex rosters and workforce coordination.
- Strong understanding of operational compliance, systems and reporting.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve operational challenges calmly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of accountability and follow-through.
- Confidence leading teams and making operational decisions within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using workforce management or rostering systems would be highly regarded.
