About the Role

This senior finance role is ideal for a qualified accounting professional who enjoys providing strategic financial advice, high level analysis and leadership within a values driven environment. Working within a cross cultural and geographically dispersed organisation, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts and budget reviews.
• Support month end and year-end financial processes.
• Lead financial systems and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and accounting requirements.
• Oversee reconciliations, controls and reporting accuracy.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors as required.

Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor qualification in Commerce, Business or related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification, or equivalent postgraduate accounting qualification is preferred.
• Significant commercial accounting experience within a large and complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of financial compliance, reporting and Australian Accounting Standards.
• Experience preparing budgets, financial statements and management reports.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with financial systems such as Pronto, SAP, MYOB, Xero or similar.
