Procurement Specialist – Indirect Spend (Banking)

The impact you’ll make  

• Drive end-to-end sourcing projects (RFx thru contract signature) across indirect categories including: consulting, contingent workforce, tax, audit, financial services, legal services, marketing, corporate services, travel, or similar – c.$100m portfolio.
• Partner with diverse stakeholders across the bank to translate business goals into sourcing strategies.
• Analyse market data to uncover savings, innovation and risk-mitigation opportunities.
• Champion supplier-relationship initiatives that lift performance and unlock continuous improvement.  

• Strategic seat at the table – procurement is embedded in decision making, not an after-thought.
• Clarity on progression – annual review cycle and clear progression pathway Specialist → Category Manager subject to performance
• Transformation and excellent leadership – support enterprise initiatives, inclusive and supportive leadership; speak-up culture where your ideas won’t gather dust.
• Hybrid rhythm – 3 days in Sydney CBD office, excellent staff benefits and amenities. 

• 18 months – 3 years in procurement / strategic sourcing within a complex enterprise (FS, telco, utilities, gov’t, large-scale corporate).
• Proven RFx delivery and vendor-management know-how across indirect categories.
• Commercial acumen: comfortable building cost models and shaping deals.
• The confidence to earn stakeholder trust and influence outcomes.
• Degree qualified  

• Sydney CBD headquarters, moments from rail and light-rail.
• Hybrid pattern: Two WFH home days
• Modern open-plan campus, on-site wellness centre and subsidised café.
