Are you currently working in residential property management and ready to take the next step into commercial property?

We are working with an established and growing property business seeking an Assistant Commercial Property Manager to join their experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential property management experience who is looking to transition into the commercial sector and build a long-term career in commercial property.

You don’t need extensive commercial experience. What’s more important is a solid foundation in property management, strong communication skills and a genuine desire to learn the commercial side of the industry.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to a diverse portfolio while working alongside experienced commercial property professionals who can support your development and progression.

The Role

• Assisting with the management of a varied property portfolio
• Building relationships with landlords, tenants and key stakeholders
• Assisting with leasing matters, renewals and rent reviews
• Coordinating maintenance and liaising with contractors
• Conducting property inspections and following up associated matters
• Monitoring arrears and assisting with owner and financial reporting
• Handling day-to-day tenant and landlord enquiries
• Supporting senior team members across broader commercial property matters
• Developing your commercial property knowledge with the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as you progress

About You

• Approximately 1–2 years’ experience within residential property management
• A genuine desire to transition from residential into commercial property
• Previous commercial exposure is highly regarded, but not essential
• Current NSW Certificate of Registration or Real Estate Licence
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• Confidence dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors
• A proactive, professional and willing-to-learn attitude
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
