What you will be doing:

• Overseeing sterile compounding to ensure medication safety, accuracy, and quality.
• Supporting and supervising pharmacy staff while ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to verify prescriptions and optimize patient care.
• Maintaining a sterile, high-quality environment, monitoring equipment, and upholding quality control standards.
• Assisting in production activities and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Providing training and mentorship to new employees and pharmacy students.

What we’re looking for:

• Licensed Pharmacist – Must be registered in Ontario.
• Detail-oriented – Accuracy is key in sterile compounding.
• Leadership & teamwork – Comfortable supervising, mentoring, and working alongside a team.
• Strong communicator – Able to collaborate with medical professionals and provide clear guidance.
• Problem-solver – Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech-savvy – Proficient in MS Office and pharmacy software.

• Casual Position – Work as needed, with no guaranteed hours. You’ll be contacted in advance when coverage is required.
• Location – This role is based in Hamilton, Ontario. Candidates should live nearby, as travel expenses are not covered.
