Job Title: Heavy Equipment / Agriculture Service Technician
Location: Lindsay, Ontario
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Pay: $30.00-$42.00 Per Hour Depending on experience
 
About the Opportunity
Our client, a family-owned business with a strong presence across North Central Ontario, is currently looking for an Experienced Equipment Technician to join their team at the Lindsay location. Specializing in agricultural and construction equipment, this position offers you the chance to work with cutting-edge machinery in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
 
You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling a variety of equipment, including tractors, tillage, planting, harvesting machinery, and precision agriculture systems.
 
What You Will Do:

• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhauling of farm machinery
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, grinders, and welding equipment
• Install, test, and troubleshoot Precision Ag electronics
• Tune diesel engines and ensure optimal performance
• Keep detailed records of repairs and parts used
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What You Will Need:

• A working knowledge of agricultural or construction machinery
• Passion for solving technical problems
• Ability to self-manage and make sound decisions
• Physical stamina to work in a hands-on role, including lifting over 50 lbs and kneeling for extended periods
