Cleanroom Technician – Calgary, Alberta
Salary: $30 - $35 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (e.g., 5:30am–1:30pm, 6:00am–2:00pm, 7:30am–3:30pm)
• Occasional overtime may be required
• Note: Hours of operation may change based on business needs.

What you'll do

• Compounding excellence: Prepare intravenous solutions and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) orders with precision according to detailed work instructions.
• Quality & safety: Conduct in-process and final product inspections, ensuring every compounded solution meets stringent quality and safety standards.
• Inventory & production support: Maintain critical inventory levels in staging and cleanroom areas, pick and verify production components, and assist with labeling, packaging, and cleaning procedures.
• Technical mastery: Execute validation, calibration, and microbiological monitoring to uphold rigorous operational standards.
• Team collaboration: Work closely under the guidance of the Pharmacy Supervisor and/or Pharmacist while independently managing tasks to ensure high-quality production.

What we’re looking for

• Certification & experience: A Regulated Technician licensed by the Alberta College of Pharmacy with a minimum of two years’ experience in a community hospital or pharmacy environment.
• Technical skills: Proven expertise in pharmaceutical technology and aseptic techniques.
• Organizational excellence: Strong time-management and multitasking abilities to excel under pressure.
• Communication & adaptability: Excellent communication skills, a high level of computer literacy, and the flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and varied shifts.
