Position: Project Management Office Lead
Compensation: $100 000.00 - $130 000,00 per year, based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package available after the probationary period.

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Lead to establish and lead a high-performing PMO team, ensuring the successful delivery of utility projects. This role is critical in setting project management standards, optimizing workflows, and driving operational excellence while fostering collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage a major project in British Columbia while supporting project managers across active projects to align with company goals.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of Project Managers, a GIS Specialist, and a Software Developer.
- Portfolio Management: Provide strategic guidance and resources to project managers overseeing multiple utility projects.
- PMO Standards: Implement standardized project management practices to enhance consistency and efficiency.
- Resource Allocation: Balance workloads across projects to ensure deadlines are met.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure scope and timeline adherence.
- Performance Reporting: Track project metrics and communicate updates to senior leadership.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine workflows to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison between leadership and project teams to align objectives.
- Customer Focus: Promote a culture of quality, innovation, and responsiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification required.
- Experience: 7+ years in project management, including 3+ years in a PMO leadership role. Cross-functional team management experience preferred.
- Travel: Must be available for travel for major project initiation.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
