Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

Role Overview
We’re looking for a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team. In this key role, you’ll develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies and procedures while fostering a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization.
As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will:

• Lead health and safety training programs for project staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety laws and best practices in Western Canada.
• Oversee site audits and supervise two quality assurance staff conducting audits.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare actionable reports.
• Implement and monitor our Safety Management Plan for British Columbia.
• Align, maintain and improve our corporate Health and Safety plan in place for Alberta and Nationally
• Collaborate with project management teams to integrate safety into project planning.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and stakeholders on health and safety matters.
• Support joint occupational health and safety committee
• Be an internal resource to staff, stakeholders and regulators with respect to health and safety matters

• Degree, diploma, or relevant experience in health and safety management.
• CRSP or CRST certification (or working toward them) is an asset.
• 2–5 years of experience in health and safety management.
• Strong understanding of health and safety laws and best practices in Western Canada.
