Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all items are sanitized and properly stored after cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including removing trash and cleaning floors.
• Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries of dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
• Support kitchen staff by maintaining a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
• Assist with kitchen prep work as needed, such as peeling vegetables or preparing ingredients.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain an organized system for returning clean dishes and utensils to the kitchen or dining area.
• Help with any other tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager or chef.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a dishwasher or kitchen assistant role is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
