Key Responsibilities:

• Stocking and Merchandising:
  
  • Unpack and stock shelves, coolers, and displays with products.
  • Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste (FIFO method).
  • Maintain a clean and organized department with visually appealing displays.
• Customer Assistance:
  
  • Greet and assist customers with locating items, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns or escalate them to the manager when necessary.
• Inventory Management:
  
  • Monitor product availability and report low-stock or out-of-stock items to the manager.
  • Assist with inventory counts and product ordering as needed.
• Store Maintenance:
  
  • Ensure aisles and common areas are clean, safe, and free from obstructions.
  • Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as wiping shelves, sweeping, and sanitizing.
• Operational Support:
  
  • Operate equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, or price scanners (training provided).
  • Support other departments or assist in bagging groceries at checkout when needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to store policies.

• Experience: Previous retail or grocery store experience is a plus but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to [X lbs] for extended periods.
• Attitude: Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
