Agricultural Service Technician – Join our dynamic team in Taber, AB!
Position type: Full-time, Permanent (Mon-Friday + on call)

Key responsibilities:
- Equipment assembly: Skillfully assemble equipment both in the shop and in the field.
- Troubleshooting & maintenance: Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and perform routine maintenance on various farm machinery and equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Installation & retrofitting: Install and retrofit complex production equipment; perform fabricating and welding as needed.
- Knowledge maintenance: Stay updated on competitive products to ensure top-notch service.
- Clean work environment: Maintain a clean, orderly work area.
- Field service: Perform diagnosis and repairs in the field when necessary.
- Safety first: Always work safely, whether alone or with others.
- Versatility: Assist with other duties as required, showcasing your versatility and team spirit.
Requirements: - Dependable team player: Be a reliable, self-motivated team player with excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Machinery expertise: Bring a strong knowledge of parts and machinery, especially row crop equipment.
- Technical proficiency: Demonstrate your ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
- Attention to detail: Exhibit effective attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Team & individual work: Work efficiently both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working well under pressure and adapting to shifting priorities.
- Tech savvy: Possess strong computer and technology skills.
- Licenses & certifications: Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract, and have a forklift certificate.
