Job Description: Refrigeration/Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Woodstock, ON (on-site)
Type: Hourly, Full-Time
Salary: $ 70,000.00 - $ 80,000.00 per year.
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (flexible Saturday start time)
 
Role overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Refrigeration/Facilities Maintenance Technician! Reporting to the Fleet & Facility Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration systems, material handling equipment, and overall facility. This is a full-time position with a flexible Saturday shift start time, offering an excellent opportunity for those who thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
 
Key responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular facility inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair overhead doors, ramps, and wrappers.
• Undertake minor building renovations, equipment moves, and configurations.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in various meetings and groups (shift, departmental, company, and safety).

Qualifications:

• Class A or B refrigeration operator certification (required).
• Minimum 1-year experience in a refrigeration operator role.
• Crown forklift PM training (an asset).
• Experience with facilities maintenance (internally and externally) (an asset).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, repetitive motions, walking, reaching, crouching, and lifting.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
