This entry-level opportunity is ideal for starting your career as an Agriculture Service Technician, working with cutting-edge technology and contributing to the future of agriculture. As an apprentice, you’ll gain on-the-job training and will be supported in providing exceptional service to customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural and turf equipment. This role offers a collaborative, growth-focused environment within one of Canada’s leading John Deere dealer organizations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and service agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and quality.
• Use specialized tools, advanced technology, and innovative solutions to complete complex repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to documented schedules and standards.
• Build knowledge of John Deere agricultural products.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and computer functions effectively.
• Engage in apprenticeship training, John Deere University training, and dealer-led sessions to further develop skills.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and succeed.
• Mechanically minded with some experience in service repairs and maintenance.
• Currently an apprentice in a mechanical field or motivated to start an apprenticeship.
• Familiarity with John Deere and similar products is an asset.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
