Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Materials Handler to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that materials, products, and equipment are efficiently received, stored, and distributed across our facility. The ideal candidate will be organized, have excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable in a physically active role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Unloading: Accept deliveries, verify accuracy, and inspect goods for damages.
• Inventory Management: Accurately store materials, maintain inventory records, and manage stock levels to support production needs.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and organize products for shipping or internal distribution, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery required to handle and transport materials.
• Quality Control: Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas, ensuring products and materials are stored in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Documentation: Complete and update all required paperwork, inventory reports, and records accurately.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, shipping, and receiving, to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a materials handler or in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy items
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or distribution setting
