We're on the lookout for a talented Electrician to join our team. If you're ready to take charge of all electrical work inside and outside the building, including wiring for equipment and structures, then this is the opportunity for you! Under the guidance of our Maintenance Mechanic – Lead Hand, you'll be responsible for updating and optimizing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with Ontario electrical codes and our company's standards.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Maintenance Mechanic – Lead Hand to execute tasks efficiently.
- Adhere to all EHS policies, procedures, and safe work instructions.
- Handle all electrical work inside and outside the building, including wiring for equipment and structures.
- Keep electrical systems up to date and optimized.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario electrical codes and Company standards.
- Be available for rotating shifts and overtime as required.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Work independently with a strong focus on dependability, dedication, honesty, and safety.
- Be open to educational courses that enhance job performance.
Special Knowledge and Skills: - Hold a valid Electrician’s license.
- Possess own tools.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Payrate: $35.92 per hour.
- Shift rotates between days and evenings.
